Sean Corkery is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. His songs are visual and imaginative landscapes, sung to the stomping foot rhythm of toofless folk blues. Cutthroat poetry, social commentary, and intimate highway songs from a powerful singer and a gritty, left-handed guitar player.
Usually featured as a solo player, Sean is a versatile, crowd-pleasing performer who fits on nearly any bill. Years as a street performer have left him with the keen ability to entertain and captivate crowds quickly. Sean occasionally plays covers ranging from Concrete Blonde to Tom Waits to Guns n' Roses. Mostly, he performs original songs. His first recording, Lefty, was released in March of 2001, followed in 2002 by a five-song EP, Poor, Drunk, and Ugly, recorded live in Chicago. He is now recording in Northern California, in-between performances.
Notable Performances:

Sean has also performed with San Francisco's Fogo Na Roupa. He is a founding member of the Loyd Family Players and was a composer for Cirkus Plexus from 2000-03.
